Joseph Treglia is Co-Investigator for the Burton Blatt Institute (BBI), of the College of Law, on the Oswego County 911 Governance and SOP Study. He is Principal Investigator (PI) on a similar study focused on Madison County; both funded through the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. Joe teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in both the School of Information Studies and the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Joe has more than 20 years experience in information technology, government and not for profit services as consultant and as senior management. He earned his PhD in information science and technology from the School of Information Studies, at Syracuse University. Research interests include communication and collaboration in crisis response, information assurance, cyber security issues, intelligence and information sharing within and across organizations, and inclusion.
